Rabida Island
Rabida is a small island with red sand that has a nesting colony of pelicans as well as sea lions and sea birds.
Day 5: Elizabeth Bay

Day 6: Sullivan Bay, Santiago Island
Today will be a big reminder that the Galápagos is as much about the land as it is about flora and fauna. Take an early morning walk along lava trails through hardened fields from an early 1900’s volcanic eruption giving you a feel of walking a path on another planet. You are walking through an ecosystem that is both very old, but also very “young” due to the volcano wiping out the previous existence that started over again a hundred years ago.
Bartolome Island
Bartolome Island is the recipient of the region’s most photographed landscaped views due to the many landscapes created by a volcano. This island offers a terrific opportunity for snorkeling and to see Galápagos penguins.
Day 7: Las Bachas, Santa Cruz Island
This beautiful white sand beach on the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island is often covered in Sally Lightfoot crabs and is one of the largest nesting areas of the Pacific Green Sea Turtle in the Galápagos. A short beach walk brings you to a pond to look for flamingos and other shorebirds. Enjoy some downtime for beaching, swimming or snorkeling.
North Seymour Island
This small rocky terrain island is home to the largest colony of frigate birds in the Galápagos. Watch for male frigates attempting to impress potential mates with an inflated red neck pouch and for the famed blue-footed boobies doing a dancing courtship ritual. Also, keep an eye out for sea lions and large land iguanas also roam about this rocky terrain. Excursion options include a guided long, rocky walk, zodiac ride, and short easy walk, or simply just a scenic zodiac tour along the coast to view wildlife and the geology of the area.
Day 8: Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristobal Island
Visit the small waterfront town of Puerto Baquerizo, where sea lions rule the waterfront. Excursion options include touring a local interpretation center and time for shopping or a fast-paced long walk to view scenic vistas, followed by a visit to the interpretation center.
Punta Pitt, San Cristobal Island
After disembarking onto the small greensand beach, you'll hike up to a plateau, where the view and landscape are so spectacular, they are considered worth the effort.
